EA Update Maps
Highway 52 Interchange - Pine Island, MNDot, Olmsted Cty, Goodhue Cty and the surrounding townships are working on an Enviromental Assessment (EA) update for the possible Highway 52 Interchange at the Bio-Technology Center at Elk Run. A public hearing was held on June 4, 2009. See Maps Above. $15,000 TMI Grant – Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation has selected Pine Island as one of four Town Meeting Initiative partners. The grant is to assist in developing a bioscience related project. The Core Leadership Team has awarded the money to three different committees: Pine Island Connections, School Curriculum Gap Analysis and Pine Island Going Green.
